"Visual Riddle: Stano's Illustration Art" is now on exhibition at Yan Books bookstore from August 15th to September 15th, 2023.
 

This exhibition showcases over 70 illustrations created by the illustrator Stano for the Chinese edition of the Harvard Business Review over the past five years.

 

These illustrations, whether naive or delicate, depict business world through a humorous and witty filter.
 

Stano coined the term "画谜" (huà mí), inspired by Chinese character riddles, a traditional game in China for thousands of years, where people gather during the Lantern Festival to guess riddles. "画谜" follows a similar concept, but using illustrations instead of written characters as the puzzle. This is what the editorial illustrations exactly do.
